Please keep the original check for 15 Business Days after you have deposited it. This allows sufficient time in case the original check is required for any reason. Once 15 Business Days have passed and you have verified that the money has been credited to your account, you should shred the check before destroy it. Do not attempt to deposit the check again.

It could be because the image wasn’t clear enough. Keep hands clear of the check when photographing. For best results, lay your check on a flat, dark surface in a well-lit area. Hold the camera steady and make sure all four corners of the check are captured in the picture. To avoid a deposit error, make sure the check is not folded or torn. Also, make sure you have endorsed the back of the check. Last, make sure the entered amount matches the amount on the check.

Deposits are subject to verification and funds may not be available immediately.

Once you’ve made your deposit, you’ll see the item pending in your Mobile App for credit the next day. The pending item will post in nightly posting.

The cut-off time for Mobile and Tablet Check Deposits are 4:00 pm MST in order to make the nightly posting and receive next day credit, provided there are no issues.

If there is a problem with the transaction, like insufficient funds or potential fraud, you will receive an email asking you to bring the check to a bank office location to resolve the issue.

For your added protection, the images of your checks are stored at the bank and not on your mobile phone.

All data exchanged between mobile web banking and mobile banking apps servers is protected in transit using SSL. All offerings provide strong password requirements and aggressive idle timeouts.

To help prevent unauthorized access to your mobile accounts, we use out-of-band multifactor authentication to authenticate users at login.

To help reduce the threat of having a banking session hijacked and manipulated by attackers, mobile banking uses cookies and device identification to fingerprint mobile devices.

Because challenge questions can be discovered or guessed easily, we use one-time passcodes (OTPs) sent out of band using SMS or phone calls instead.

Tablets have many of the same weaknesses that are observed in other mobile devices. For this reason, all security restrictions that apply to phones also apply to tablets.

If your mobile device is lost or stolen after authentication, the account cannot be accessed without the username and password.
