Mr. Crotty has spent the last 16 years of his career at KBW advising and working with community banks on a variety of strategic initiatives. Jim’s primary focus has been on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raising (including mutual to stock conversions and IPO’s), branch and asset purchases and divestitures as well as overall strategic planning initiatives.
During his tenure at KBW Mr. Crotty has been intimately involved on over 90 M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to his time at KBW, Jim served as a Software engineer and consultant for a software development firm.
He is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio where he majored in Management Information Systems (“MIS”) with a minor in Finance.
Mr. Crotty has been a frequent speaker at several different state banking associations, BKD banking symposiums and Financial Managers Society events. He holds a series 7 and 63 securities license.
